Absolutely superb. First of all, it's 1000x more gorgeous than you expect. It's like a fever dream of art — horses and lions and all sorts of animal statues EVERYWHERE, gilded frames, chalices, paintings; it's a deluge of art. The pool is lovely, the rooms are amazing with private pools, and the lake is great. Food is also solid. I love planes, so watching planes fly overhead is a PLUS. Will definitely stay again. This is great for people traveling; it's not quiet bc of the planes. But it's fabulous. Great staff and treatment.

I can only speak for my own experience, but I have no complaints at all. The service and food were excellent, and my villa was fantastic. Both check-in and check-out were seamless, and the included airport transfer was a great bonus. Just a heads-up: there is significant noise from the planes. However, as a plane enthusiast, I actually enjoyed it

Absolutely 5 star experience for us. This is a huge resort property filled with tons of art pieces, a large lake, spectacular statues and decor everywhere, and with the most unique incredible rooms that left a lasting impression on my guest. Our own pool with room service with a view of sunset over the lake is a cherished memory. The restaurant with included breakfast feels like a British castle with the most gorgeous table settings. The concierge went above and beyond helping us. This is a must stay place for us now.

Ammata Lanta Resort is a very cool and unique place with a lot of neat photo opportunities, the aesthetic is definitely its strongest feature weird and different which I like. That said, our experience in the Superior King Villa had several drawbacks that are worth noting. Ammata is not a 5 star hotel. The floors in the villa were noticeably uneven, which made the space feel awkward. The bathroom was missing basic amenities like conditioner and lotion (very glad I brought my own), and the shower water ran cold within just a couple of minutes. The balcony was also disappointing: there was no furniture, and none of the balcony lights worked. You are unable to connect your personal Netflix or TV apps. Location-wise, there really isn’t anything within walking distance. No nearby shops or non resort restaurants so you’re limited to eating at the hotel or traveling up the road for a couple street carts or 7 eleven. On top of that, Google Maps didn’t work properly for the resort, and our cab driver drove past it several times trying to find the entrance at least 3 times, which added about 300 baht to our cab bill. I’m glad we stayed here for just one night because it’s close to the airport which is VERY loud. It works fine for a short layover. However, I don’t think I’d choose this resort for an extended stay. Overall, it’s visually interesting but falls short on comfort and convenience.

Probably one of the weirdest hotels I've ever stayed at. It is not a 5-star hotel. The rooms smell like mold and there are bugs/mosquitoes/gnats everywhere. The smell is like old water basically all over the resort. The breakfast was not very good. But the one upside was it was very easy to get to the airport. And the service was exceptional. Everyone there was so accommodating and nice. I just wish the rooms where cleaner and somehow they smelled better. And the airplane noise is not good but it is close to the airport.
