We loved our stay at ASAI Bangkok Chinatown. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Yaowarat, surrounded by street food, neon lights and all the energy and chaos that make Chinatown so special. What makes this hotel stand out is how peaceful it feels despite being so close to the action. You step outside and you are immediately in the middle of everything, then come back to a space that is comfortable, quiet and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are well laid out, the beds are very comfortable and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It is the perfect base if you want to fully experience Bangkok while still sleeping well at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a week in Roomy King Courtyard with wife and I. The rooms and the facilities were modern and well designed. Great location to get around Bangkok. Close to a train station and walkable to a lively Chinatown that is active from morning to late night. It's surprisingly quiet for being in middle of the city, perhaps due to good insulation. The bed was on the firm side, but it was comfortable for me. Breakfast buffet is well stocked, but recommend not just eating that if staying for multiple days to try local flavors. Note that when using Grab, this hotel appears at "I'm Chinatown" which is the name of the building. The hotel occupies the top floors. This confused me at first.

Excellent location and great hotel. Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2026. The location is amazing and very close to the metro station and to local markets. The hotel and our room were both very clean and modern looking. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Chinatown. There are also two massage places right across and a 7/11 underneath the hotel along with many other food/snack places in the attached mall. The breakfast also had many different options though was largely the same on both days (except for 2 Thai dishes that changed). We got to the hotel way before check-in but were able to store our bags there and come back when the room was ready for us. Make sure to ask for slippers/toothbrush/cotton swabs/shower cap as those aren’t provided by default.

Negative Reviews
I was expecting more satisfaction from this hotel. I was given 2 cards for my room. Still, only one of them works for my dorm room. When I went down to talk with the receptionist, they did not show us any respect. The reception guy just looked at his computer and did not listen to us. He just asked about our room number. He said they would give me the new card asap, but I waited another day before receiving it. I traveled with my family, and we were unsatisfied with this place. The owner should train the staff to prioritize respecting the customer.
