Had a great time there. Spent two nights here. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. You can reach the BTS station Ratchathewi directly from within the hotel. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was very good. Its a buffet.

This hotel is the perfect location as connected directly to the BTS station Ratchathewi. The hotel reception has been renovated and is huge. The rooms are what I would call a bit retro but clean and spacious. Not enough plugs to charge things with and my adapter didn't want to stay in the plug so had to prop it with a chair but that's not the hotels fault. Lots of floors to the hotel but plenty of lifts so never had to wait long for the lift. The soundproofing is excellent and the shower is very powerful. The air conditioning was the perfect temperature and very quiet. We had a problem with our safe a couple of times and they came to fix it immediately without any problems. The pools looked nice but we didn't use them and we didn't pay for breakfast. I would definately stay in this hotel again. The road outside the hotel is very busy so we had to wait a while for taxis during peak hours.

I had a really pleasant stay at Asia Hotel Bangkok. The moment you step inside, the lobby immediately sets the tone. It is clean, polished, and surprisingly elegant. What stood out the most for me was the interior design, especially the crystal chandeliers and the sparkling decorative details throughout the hotel. They give the space a classic and slightly glamorous Bangkok hotel atmosphere, and it looks even better in person. It is also very photogenic. The room was comfortable, well maintained, and felt properly cared for. Everything worked as it should, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing despite the busy location. I slept well and felt comfortable throughout my stay. The bathroom was another strong point. It was clean, practical, and clearly maintained with attention to detail, which made the stay feel reassuring and pleasant. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone who appreciates a bright, clean, and well kept property with a touch of classic charm. I would happily stay here again and would confidently recommend it to both business and leisure travelers.

Negative Reviews
I had a very disappointing experience at Asia Hotel, mainly due to the extremely unprofessional behaviour of the night shift staff and the manager on duty. From the moment we approached the front desk at night, the attitude was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Instead of assisting guests properly, the staff appeared uninterested and unwilling to resolve even simple queries. Basic customer service — politeness, patience, and professionalism — was completely lacking. What was even more concerning was the manager’s behaviour. Rather than stepping in to improve the situation, the manager was equally unprofessional and did not handle the issue appropriately. There was no sense of accountability or effort to provide solutions. As guests, we felt ignored and disrespected. When you stay at a hotel, especially after a long day of travel, you expect courtesy and support from the staff — particularly from management. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many other options where guests are treated with respect and professionalism.

This was my second stay at this hotel (previously stayed in 2019 before the renovation). Overall, it’s quite okay, but you can still feel that it’s an old hotel. The hotel now requires a 2,000 THB deposit, and they no longer accept USD — only THB cash or credit card. The lobby looks much nicer now, with a chandelier; it used to be a restaurant before the renovation. One very convenient point is the BTS connection on the 2nd floor. Although the second floor is currently under renovation, you can still access the BTS via the elevator near Rio restaurant. There is also a guest-only shortcut to 7-Eleven next to the reception counter, which I only noticed after my second day of stay and found very helpful. The room is quite nice, and the toiletries are acceptable. However, my room’s fridge is old and had mold inside, which was disappointing. The toilet also requires several flushes (around 5 times) to fully work properly. One surprise was that no iron is provided, which is unusual for a hotel. The breakfast selection is limited and not very varied. Overall, it’s an okay stay with some improvements after renovation, but there are still areas that need better maintenance.
