Aurum The River Place

Fantastic old style hotel with proper furniture and full of character. Lovely staff and excellent service. Great location for river trips, public transport and walking distance to the Royal Palace. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of Wat Arun was a highlight.

This small hotel is down a quiet alley in Bangkok. It is minutes away from the river ferry to take you to Wat Arun and just a short walk to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the Blue Line. The Thai breakfast is standout with beautiful river views and the staff are so kind! I appreciated the physical key for the rooms that you leave with reception so you can never lose it and don’t have to deal with strange card access issues. We only had ~ 48 h in Bangkok and this hotel was perfectly placed for packing in as much sightseeing as possible in a short time.

I have a wonderful time at this small hotel. I like the rooms they are big enough for two adults and one small child. The location is great across What Arun so you can se it from your room. And great hospitality from madam Pan who from the beginning was great and she respond to every request we have during our stay. Great neighbourhood around very quiet during the night and lot of restoran around the area. I love it there
