AVANTCHA Tea & Cocktail Bar

A stylish tea bar to at offers high end tea as well as complex mocktail with tea as primary ingredients. As a self trained chef where one of my specialties is complex tea based mocktail, I can say tha Avantcha concoction is next level good. Located near Thong Lor off the Main Street of Sukhumvit, Avantcha converted a typical non descript shop house slab into a a stylish sanctuary for tea aficionado. You can choose from broad selection of high end tea leaves as well as mocktails. The pastries are surprisingly good here as well. Since it’s relatively new, the place is quiet enough for respite, reading or light work on your laptop. A worthy stop especially if you love tea

This place changed my mind about tea. I only came in for the Matcha Latte, but then K. Pim, the bar supervisor, recommended that I try their hot teas. I went with the one with cranberry called Bamboo Snow White and absolutely fell in love with it. I felt calm and relaxed. I was sitting in their second-floor area with leaf decorations. To be honest, it felt like an early 2000s cool, hip place in NYC that I would imagine seeing on a show like SATC. The service is amazing. They are so knowledgeable and give you recommendations, guiding you without making you feel overwhelmed. I would definitely bring a date or friends back here. The cocktail was also pretty good, and very strong (which i loveee).

- One of the best tea cafe/bar in Bangkok - The 2 male staff we met today (Jan 17th, 2026) are very friendly, knowledgeable, and have a superb service mind - There are a lot of tea selections here where you can try before decinding to purchase one - Matcha here is served mildly warm. They are pretty flavourful and concentrate. Yet, they served a warm water separately so you can add in to make it dilute if needed - Oolong sunrise is strong recommended.. it's very refreshing, nice, and light - There are 3 floors where you can sit and relax - At night, they also serve alocohol with tea as a base - Staff here speak English fluently and, yes, they speak Thai too - This is 1 of the great place to relax days and nights
