I stumbled upon this cafe when I was looking for coffee in the area. This is a super cute cafe with a lovely patio space. Staff are super friendly and polite. We got the traditional thai coffee with condensed milk, black coffee and the Kai-Kra-Ta. Everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!!

I pinned this breakfast restaurant because I saw that they serve Kai Kata, my all-time favorite, and I also desperately needed some caffeine in my system. Since it’s a kopi-style café, I knew they must have good coffee and breakfast, so we decided to stop by. For parking, we followed Google Maps’ recommendation and parked at Wat Makutkasatriyaram (free for the first 30 minutes, then THB 10 per hour). The temple’s parking lot has an automated system with QR code payment, which is very convenient. From there, we walked through a small soi behind the temple and found the restaurant easily. The main entrance of the restaurant is on the side next to the yellow turtle vehicle (รถเต่าสีเหลือง). The restaurant has two air-conditioned floors, making it super comfortable even in summer. Luckily, we visited during winter, so we chose to sit on the second-floor balcony. The weather was perfect, with a nice view and the relaxing sound of a waterfall. The interior blends modern and traditional styles beautifully. It’s something you really need to experience yourself to fully understand. Despite being located near a main road, the place feels very green and peaceful. The food was very authentic. The Kai Kata was good as always, but the best and tastiest decision I made was ordering the Thai milk tea (25% sweetness). Highly recommended! I didn’t get to try their Chafe (a tea and coffee combination), which sounds interesting, so that will be for next time. The Khao Kluk Kapi that my mom ordered was also very delicious and truly authentic, she confirmed that herself. The prices are reasonable compared to many other places in Bangkok. Note: No cash accepted. Only credit card or QR code payment. They even have a bell on the table to call the staff if needed, and all the staff who assisted us were extremely kind, soft-spoken, and helpful. 📑✨ My mom says this is a ‘mini thesis’ already, so I’ll stop here. In summary: 5/5. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable breakfast spot and a great way to start your day.
