Baan Sathorn Chao Phraya

I’ve lived in a few places around the city, but this is hands down the best one yet. Honestly, I’m so happy here! The biggest win has to be the floor-to-ceiling windows. The view of the city and the river is just incredible—I never get tired of looking out at it. A few reasons why I love it: The Pool: It’s half-olympic size, so I can actually get a proper swim in every day. Plus, doing laps with a river view is a total game-changer. Super Clean: The building is kept in impeccable shape. It’s always spotless and feels really fresh. Great Staff: The security guys are attentive and friendly; This place has the best views in town, I can't recommend it enough!

I have been living here for over 15 years and am very happy, with the view of the river, the beautiful swimming pool where I use whenever I have time. The important part is the security, there’s a guard at the entrance 24/7. Most of the time I live alone, so security is very important to me. A yearly maintenance cost is very reasonable. It’s 5 minutes walk to Iconsiam. A few minutes walk to BTS.

I had the great pleasure to return for a visit to Baan Sathorn Chaophraya this past month, and it was wonderful to see it in the same fantastic condition as when I was last there before the COVID pandemic. My family and I spent 13 years visiting each winter from 2008 to 2020, and we cherish the memories we made at this beautiful property. From the dear residents who became our community, to the security staff who made us feel safe and welcome, to the local shops and restaurants that welcomed us home each year— this is an exceptionally special place! 🥰 You truly cannot find a more wonderful place to stay in Bangkok, and you may just find yourself joining the team of perpetual returnees who return to Baan Sathorn Chaophraya year after year after year… ! 🥰👍🎉
