Baan Tepa Boutique House

Our first thought was to stay in a modern, fancy hotel for our 3 nights in BK. When we found this place, we changed our minds and SO happy that we did. We were greeted by the wonderful couple who own this place so warmly, with a drink and snack. They then present us with a shirt and a bag! The house itself is BEAUTIFUL and full of history. The rooms were immaculate and the bed, very comfortable. Breakfasts (lovingly cooked by the wife) were amazing, as was the garden. SUCH helpful, wonderful hosts! We used BOLT at night for the 15 min journey into KS Road or nearby. In the mornings, we walked the 20 mins to the nearby pier to take the water taxi. The walk took us past local shops and areas which we loved. I would highly recommend you stay at this beautiful accommodation. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to our 3 weeks in Thailand. What a lovely elderly couple running this homestay! I received such a warm welcome, with a delicious homemade drink and a small gift. And the lady’s cooking is amazing! She prepares an incredibly tasty, fresh breakfast that will keep you fueled for hours. The homestay is super peaceful, away from all the hustle and bustle, truly wonderful!

I cannot say how wonderful the vibe of this place is. The owners are just absolutely wonderful, kind, generous and helpful. The rooms are basic but have undeniable charm with great amenities. It is exceptional value for money, plus a home cooked breakfast in the morning. I truly feel this location is incredibly special.
