Baker Bricks (Habito)

😙 Crumbling outside, soft and buttery inside. I found this pop-up scone booth in Central chitlom, and the scone just called me to taste it. The original scones from this brand have good buttery fragrance with unique texture, crumbly and softly in one scone. The sweetness of the scones is subtle and it's nice to pair its with some good cups of tea. However, I can notice the aftertaste (astringent?) of some baking soda/powder still lingering in my mouth long after i finished the scone. By 75 baht per scones, i think it's quite luxurious for me. But quality come with a price, right? Additional jam cost me 30 baht, and I think it's too sweet for my liking. If you like the scones, i think you should try their recipe at least once.

Very nice coffee & bakery shop in habito mall. Till now I had cafe latte & mocha. Both were really very tasty. They even ask you what type of roast you want to have. Only outside sitting available but the ambience is calm & beautiful. Liked their dirty coffee as well.

The scones are absolutely perfect. The texture is soft and melts in your mouth, with just the right balance of sweetness. The fresh cream adds a lovely contrast, adding both the texture and a delightful sense of lightness.
