Best service we have ever experienced! One hour prior to leaving for the airport; I left my phone in a random taxi in Bangkok. The concierge staff went above and beyond to locate the car, driver and get my phone delivered to the airport to me. Throughly impressed with the care, attention, and resourcefulness of the staff. I cannot thank them enough. Throughout the week, the staff were also attentive - recommending great places to visit and following up with us afterwards. We felt very well cared for. We usually stay at the Ritz-Carlton - however, as we were travelling with our 3 year old - we chose the residential suite at the Marriott Surawongse. It was perfect. It is very rare to have generous, apartment sized amenities in a hotel - we had a full sized kitchen and washing machine. The amenities were also great, the pool has multiple kid friendly areas which was a big hit with our family. Thank you again to the staff - they are the highlight to this already wonderful hotel. We are very much looking forward to visiting again.

An Exceptional Stay at Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse ​I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse, and I must say that "5 stars" doesn't feel like enough to describe the incredible experience I had. From the stunning aesthetics to the impeccable cleanliness, everything was top-notch. ​What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. They are the heartbeat of this establishment. ​Exceptional Hospitality: I was blown away by the care I received from Khun Krongkarn. Her service was truly world-class and perfectly reflects the Marriott standard. She is, without a doubt, a "Charming Host" who made me feel incredibly welcome. ​A Warm Welcome: My check-in experience was seamless. While I unfortunately missed the name of the Bellman who assisted me, he was outstanding. He explained the hotel facilities clearly, was straight to the point, and showed a genuine understanding of a guest's needs. ​Executive Lounge: The service at the lounge was equally impressive. The staff there were attentive and made the experience feel very exclusive. ​Going Above and Beyond: Since I had to depart at 5:00 AM, Khun Dew (the afternoon shift male staff) went out of his way to arrange an early breakfast for me. This level of proactive service was truly beyond my expectations. ​If you are looking for a place where you will be treated with genuine care and professional excellence, this is it. A huge thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay!

As Lek Patravadi would declare before the curtain rises, every great performance begins with impeccable staging — and this hotel absolutely understands the assignment. Five radiant stars for Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse — a stay so well-orchestrated it deserved its own standing ovation. Taking inspiration from Lek Patravadi, this stay felt like a perfectly directed production from start to finish. We stayed in a suite, and let me tell you — once you go suite, it’s very hard to go back to “regular human accommodations.” Spacious, comfortable, with a fantastic city view that made me feel like I owned at least three nearby buildings. Also included a washer/dryer for any items you might have. Hotel provided washing detergent. The staff were exceptional — warm, friendly, and effortlessly professional. The concierge team was incredibly helpful with every question. Directions? Recommendations? “What’s up?” They had answers before I finished asking. Breakfast was a full culinary production: egg station, noodle station, dim sum station — it felt less like breakfast and more like a strategic dining event. The food overall was excellent. We had a couple of lunches and a dinner between the pool bar and Praya Kitchen, and each meal made leaving the hotel feel like an unnecessary risk. The infinity pool is spectacular — the kind where you casually announce, “I’ll be at the pool,” as though it’s a critical business engagement. Open 10 AM to 10 PM, which allows for both responsible swimming and dramatic sunset lounging. The the Yao Restaurant & Rooftop Bar at night is fantastic. City lights, great atmosphere — you feel like you’ve unlocked the executive level of Bangkok. The M Club was excellent, with plenty of seating (no awkward hovering) and a 5:30 PM happy hour that delivered a wonderful selection of food and drinks. It’s the kind of happy hour that quietly replaces your dinner plans without apology. The free shuttle to the nearest metro station made getting around the city easy and convenient. Only minor suspense in the storyline? That first morning coffee took a little while to arrive. Just enough delay to remind me how much I value caffeine. But once it came, harmony was restored. Overall: fantastic staff, delicious food, beautiful facilities, and a suite that may have permanently raised my standards. Five stars — standing ovation included.
