Bangkok Rama Hotel

I checked in at midnight and the experience was truly frightening. The property was full of frogs and strange insects making noises outside. Inside the room, the furniture was very old and poorly maintained. The washbasin was too small to use, there were no cups provided, and I had to use my hands to drink water to brush my teeth. The room was full of insects and dead bugs. At night, there was even a gecko making noise behind the wardrobe, which made me too scared to open my luggage. No desks provided in all suites though online pictures do. No Wi-Fi password was given, so I couldn’t get online. The keychain was so large it couldn’t even fit in a bag. The photos online showed a writing desk, but in reality, none of the rooms had one. I booked for three nights, but the conditions were so bad that I left after the first night. However, the hotel refused to refund the remaining two nights. When leaving, I noticed other rooms had bedridden elderly people and hospital-style beds, which made me feel this place might actually be a converted nursing home renting out rooms. I will never return here, no matter how cheap it is. - Additional comment to the hotel's comment: 1. The WIFI password was not provided while checking in which was quite inconvenient for a nomad (below average service standard) but was indeed delivered in a printed paper by a staff 10 minutes later the next morning when I asked for it in the phone. (also below average service standard) 2. I booked via the ctrip agent and both ctrip and I think the hotel should refund for the other 2 nights because the hotel provided fake pictures (no actual desk provided in any rooms). BTW, as you see, I don't like this hotel's serving standard and attitude towards customers' feedback. Very unprofessional.
