Bed Station Hostel Ratchathewi

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe future guests should know what to expect. On my first night, I had to request a room change due to extremely loud snoring. The night shift staff member was kind and handled the situation, which I appreciated… However, the temporary room I was moved to had not been cleaned (full trash bins and messy beds). I was informed that the room was reserved for a group arriving the next day, so I would need to move again the next day and re-check in after 3 PM. Although inconvenient, I agreed. What made the experience uncomfortable was that staff entered the room twice without knocking. Privacy should be respected! The following day, I was asked around 11AM to vacate the room quickly, even though official checkout time was 12 PM.I asked to be placed in a room with more female guests if it’s possible for my final night, the staff accommodated this request, which I appreciated. In the evening, when I checked into my final room, I was told weirdly “This is the last available room tonight,there are no other rooms… Then my key card did not work and this happened more than once during my stay. Each time I had to return downstairs to resolve it. Instead of simply resolving the issue, the response felt impatient, and I was reminded that I would be checking out the next day. Overall, the hostel has a good location and some friendly staff, but the room management, privacy handling, and front desk attitude need improvement! I hope management takes this feedback seriously

The reception staff at this hostel is very ill managed especially the two ladies. They come with a bad attitude and are really rude. I choose to extend my stay, at first I was told I need to checkout and check-in again into a different room in different floor, their reason was they had to close the room for cleaning which is very strange. And they deliberately made me wait for two extra hours before assigning a new room. Management please take note and take some action against this kind of behaviour.
