BMA General Hospital

When I am in bangkok I always go to this hospital. It is for the “not rich” from us thailand goers. Waiting times are long, but nurses ver helpful and friendly. Doctors are qualified. And you get a glimpse of daily life of people who are sick. Prices are cheap. I got ear troubles and got antibiotics and painkillers, a week for 250 thb.

I am a 62 year old female who was travelling through Thailand in 1985 and my appendix ruptured. Emergency surgery in Klang General Hospital and a ten day stay. Everyone was amazing and I was very lucky to recover well. No complaints at all, friends brought me food and toiletries whilst I was there and I was very well cared for by nurses and Drs Thankyou :-) Sandy Walker

In June 2023, the hospital still asked to have a negative COVID test... IMO, an up-to-date - with last practices - hospital, should stop to do that. Anyway, the reputation of this hospital is to outperforme the rate service/price. But for farang like me, maybe, for a few dollars more, it is possible to have a more comfortable, but private, hospital, without getting some hours and hours of waiting in line.
