We originally booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 5. The rooms and shared bathrooms are both really clean. In fact the 3 bathrooms on our floor seemed to be cleaned daily so it really was quite clean. There was a lobby area with a sink and fridge and coffee station. We are cyclists and the staff were very accommodating and let us keep our bikes in the lobby. They were also all around so friendly and hospitable and we very much so enjoyed our stay!

Exactly what we needed for a peaceful stay in Bangkok. Me and my friend came back 3 times during our travels of Asia and it was a great base. The staff are all so kind and friendly and the rooms and toilets were always so clean :)

Such a lovely hostel. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. My friend and I had to travel to Bangkok multiple times and always chose to come back to Boon. Would definitely recommend!

Negative Reviews
I have been to Bangkok countless times and stayed in numerous neighborhood from Silom, Nana, Siam, Saphan Taksin, thonglor, Talad Noi, khaosan, Yaorawat, Mochit and now San Chao POA Suea. Overall, this is one of the worse hostels I have stayed. I have never given a review on a hostel but I am so frustrated with this management I have to pen it down. The entrance lobby has a dilapidated vibe in need of a good renovation. No AC in the lobby, very uncomfortable you don't wanna hang out in the lobby. The bed in my room was so hard and I can't sleep well, I have to sleep on top of the blanket for some comfort. Room is also very sad; I expected windows but mine didn't have. Select and make sure you get the ones with windows because the room with windows is much bigger. I got a 2 pax room but they gave me a smaller room instead even though I paid for 2pax. The worse was the wifi situation, I totally can't do my work. I talked to them nicely on the first day and they said they fixed it. The second day it still was not working properly and I was so frustrated because some of my work got lost due to their poor connection. Wifi for a hostel is like basic fundamental facility, if u can't even do that right then don't operate a hostel. They were apologetic about the wifi, which they only managed to fix it completely on the 3rd day which is when I am about to check out. I was in 0 mood to talk to them or even have any conversation I just wanna get the hell out. I call a spade a spade so there is of course good factors; The only saving grace is their cleanliness, 24hour reception and also they were kind enough to receive parcel on my behalf. These pros give it a 1 star if not they literally deserve 0 stars. Overpromised on Agoda with beautiful photos just lead to utter disappointment.
