I understand that service etiquette can vary by culture, and some places expect you to wave or call out. Still, I tried using eye contact and even a small writing gesture, and despite several staff clearly being free, no one approached us. I eventually walked up to the counter to ask if we could order. Even then, the first staff member just looked to another colleague to handle it. This may have been a misunderstanding, but it was surprising for a café that gets many tourists. The place is clean, but their shoe policy felt inconsistent — customers were asked to remove their shoes, yet some older men were allowed to keep theirs on, which made the rule feel a bit pointless if it’s meant for hygiene. Also, no coasters, so drinks were left sweating on the table. Be aware that it’s cash only, and while they offer PromptPay, it’s linked to a personal account. If your PromptPay is tied to a non-Thai bank, it will show “invalid merchant”, so you won’t be able to pay. Food: Poor — wouldn’t recommend. Drinks: Average. Cleanliness: Good — credit where it’s due. Overall: Not worth the visit.
