I loved this place - the service is exceptional- we stayed at 4 different hotels in Thailand and this one made us feel the most special and well looked after. The suite was beautiful- amazing views around the city, we loved the facilities- games room was great with the kids. There was always someone ready to greet us enthusiastically and warmly every time we appeared at reception or pulled up to open a door and check we need anything. Leo the Bell Captain was particularly lovely - thank you for taking such good care of us!

Centre Point Plus Silom – Bangkok Location, location… and yes, location again. You really can’t fault it. The hotel sits right beside the BTS Skytrain, making Bangkok effortless to navigate. Step outside and you’re immediately in the pulse of Silom — excellent local restaurants, cafés and street food all within easy walking distance. For connectivity alone, it scores highly. The hotel is very clean and the staff are genuinely pleasant — particularly the breakfast team. Breakfast is a real highlight: a wide and varied buffet with strong Western options alongside Thai dishes. And credit where it’s due — properly executed poached eggs. Seasoned travellers will know that’s not a given. There is refurbishment underway, although it appears limited to certain public areas at present. The property feels transitional — not neglected, but mid-upgrade. Bedrooms Functional… but lacking warmth. The rooms feel dated, particularly the kitchenette areas, and while the bathrooms are adequate, they don’t feel refreshed. The floors are especially disappointing — soulless, sparse, and noisy underfoot. They amplify movement rather than soften it, which reduces the sense of calm. Acoustically, this becomes noticeable — footsteps and general activity carry more than expected, subtly affecting rest and sleep quality. The overall atmosphere leans more toward practical serviced apartment than relaxed city retreat. The bones are solid; it simply hasn’t stylistically caught up yet. Challenges • Only two lifts serving a busy property — peak times can feel chaotic. • Check-in was unusually elongated, with more disclaimers and forms than I’ve encountered in years of travel — from GDPR acknowledgements to lost keycard liability. It felt unnecessarily administrative for a leisure stay. • The lobby area often resembles a luggage holding zone rather than a welcoming arrival space, which diminishes first impressions. Facilities The pool area is a pleasant surprise — calm, elevated, and a nice counterbalance to Bangkok’s energy. ⸻ Overall I liked the hotel. The fundamentals are strong — particularly the location and the warmth of the staff — and once the refurbishment is fully completed, it has the potential to feel considerably sharper. At present, it’s clean, convenient and well-located, but not yet elevated. Would I stay again? Yes — largely because the location makes Bangkok so easy. But I suspect its best version is still ahead of it.

A fantastic choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of luxury in one of Bangkok’s best neighborhoods. The location is superb — just steps from Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT, with great access to shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and attractions, yet still tucked away on a quieter street. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchenette facilities are especially handy for longer stays, and the views of the city skyline from higher floors are lovely at night.
