Chang Siam Inn

This place is situated in mostly like the heart of shopping world. Walking distance to most of the shopping malls like Platinum, Indra market, Big C, Central world, Palladium night market, Pratunam night market and Ratchaprarop rail station which directly connects with BKK. The place was worth the price as it had clean and tidy rooms with all the required amenities. Complementary breakfast of toast and coffee were there every morning. Two 7 eleven stores were there right in front of the hotel. Daily house keeping was there and we had nothing to worry about. Hotel was elegant looking with old wood carvings. Money exchange facility is there in the hotel. But the rooms were not sound proof, therefore we could hear all the surrounding noices. Overall worth the price if you are planning for a shopping focused trip.

My stay at Chang Siam Inn was overall okay, but the hotel definitely shows its age. The room was pretty standard and felt old, lacking any charm or modern appeal. One of the biggest drawbacks was the poor soundproofing—you can easily hear conversations from rooms even 2–3 doors away, which can be quite disturbing. The hotel does have a lift, which is convenient, and the staff were generally fine, doing what was required but nothing beyond that. Everything in the hotel feels a bit worn-out, though the daily room-cleaning service was a positive point. Instead of providing tea or coffee inside the room, they offer simple bread toast, tea, and coffee outside, which was a nice touch. While the hotel is just okay on its own, it actually seems decent when compared to other nearby options. Another plus is its location—it's within walking distance from the airport metro line, making it convenient for travelers. Overall, it’s a satisfactory place if you’re not expecting anything fancy and just need a basic, well-located stay.

Room is quite good as per the price but the best part is hotel is near to Pratunam Market and Ratchaprarop Station. Indian food is widely available nearby. Room was clean and hygenic. Staff is also good. But dont expect dental kit and slippers. Rest, all is good.
