Nice hotel with very good location and own swiming pool on the roof. We spand couple of days there on our way back from Koh Pha Ngan,and we enjoid the location with many small restaurants nearby and legendary KhaoSan road.

We had a pleasant stay at Chillax Resort. The hotel is very well located in Bangkok’s historic district — close enough to Khaosan Road to enjoy the atmosphere, yet far enough to avoid the noise and crowds. It’s the perfect balance. There are many restaurants, massage places, and laundry services just steps away from the hotel, which makes everything very convenient. The rooftop pool is definitely a nice bonus and a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though we experienced slightly warmer hospitality in some other hotels in Thailand. Overall, it’s a good option for staying in this lively area of Bangkok.

Great hotel,friendly staff and superb facilities. Fantastic rooms ,clean and fresh balconies are only for show and not usable. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of options, European and Thai The only draw back it is a long way from Metro or BTS stations. So getting around can take time (tip , google number 53 bus ,very local 8 baht per trip and goes in lage circle every 10 mins) and river ferries are good Surrounding area very good with bars and restaurants 10 min walk to Khao San Road.

The room is a bit weird. There’s a big bath stuff separated from the bedroom by a curtain. Seems like the kind of “fancy” touch best left in the 80s. The shower is separate but the door didn’t close properly, so water leaked. There’s a decent sized pool on the roof with a bar — the barmaid had a right face on her and when I politely asked if she could add some alcohol to a fruit shake, she point blank refused, despite my offering to pay extra. It spoilt the sunset experience. The hotel is somewhat dated and there’s plenty of better options for the price.
