COMO Metropolitan Bangkok

I LOVE this hotel and it s been my togo place by default everytime i visited bkk. Amzing staff, service, lobby, pool, gym, spa (pretty much everything) : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Rooms are still as confortable and clean and spacious… but the new design makeover is a massive downgrade. It is really bad. On top of looking totally off and cheap, i still wonder “WHY”. the lighting tones (from warm 2500 to 4000-5000 makes the room look like a hospitale when lights are on. The greenary in the terrass rooms where the beautiful banana leaves were got switched to a pattern or random plans that looks the space even cheaper! No more alarm, portable speaker nor bedside lamps, which leaves the relaxing mood in the hands of the reading pointer lights makes my eyes burn when i m in the room. (👎🏼). What a pity. Looked so nice before! I still recomand that place !

​I stayed here for 4 nights and had a mostly amazing experience. Check-in was smooth, and we appreciated the Amex Platinum room upgrade. The rooms are massive with beautiful decor, and the bathroom facilities are great. ​The service stood out—the staff is really attentive and amazing, and the concierge gave us great local recommendations. We also loved the food. Breakfast was really good with a great buffet spread featuring a nice selection of Continental and Thai options. The fresh fruits were excellent—our favorites were the mango and coconut. We also had a fantastic vegetarian dinner at Nahm. ​The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the bed. It was very firm, and I struggled to get a good night's sleep. Update after reply: I hadn't realized that mattress toppers or alternatives were an option. I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Lovely stay. Service was great. Shout out especially to the concierge for service above and beyond. Renovated rooms appeal to us minimalists but others may find them a tad stark. And if you like a cushy bed the firm mattress may challenge you. The work out facilities are top rate and the enormous pool is just the respite one needs when Bangkok becomes overwhelming. The staff couldn’t be friendlier.
