I finally had a chance to visit Conkey’s Bakery in Ekkamai yesterday with a friend, and I can see why so many people love this place. The first thing that stood out wasn’t even the bakery—it was the atmosphere. The shop feels more like visiting someone’s beautiful home than going to a café. It’s surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of trees and a lovely garden that creates a peaceful and relaxing environment. Although there’s no air-conditioned indoor seating, the open-air space is surprisingly comfortable. The natural shade and fresh air make it a nice place to slow down, enjoy a conversation, and spend an unhurried afternoon. The bakery itself offers an impressive variety of freshly baked bread and pastries. If you’re a sourdough lover, you’ll probably have a hard time deciding because there are so many different kinds to choose from. One thing I really enjoyed was watching trays of freshly baked bread coming out of the kitchen throughout the day. Every few minutes, something new appeared on the shelves, filling the whole place with the wonderful smell of fresh bread. It definitely made it impossible to leave without buying a few extra loaves to take home. Besides the bakery, they also serve both hot and iced coffee, along with a good selection of other hot and cold drinks. Another nice surprise was the small selection of organic vegetables available for sale. It’s a thoughtful little touch that fits perfectly with the overall concept of the place. What I liked most was how relaxed everything felt. There was no pressure to rush through your meal or leave your table. It simply felt like spending time at a friend’s house with really good bread, great coffee, and a peaceful garden. Sometimes that’s exactly the kind of place you need. If you’re looking for a quiet bakery with freshly baked bread, a cozy atmosphere, and a break from the busy city, Conkey’s Bakery is definitely worth visiting. It’s one of those places where the experience is just as enjoyable as the food itself, and I’d happily come back again.

Conkey's is a gem of a bakeshop in Bangkok. I highly suggest for everyone to visit this place. We all loved their bread and their coffee was also good. We also thought that for the quality of the bread, they're affordable.
