Dynasty Grande Hotel

Beware, avoid at all costs, it's a racket. janv. 30, 2026 Warning, nothing in this hotel is 4-star, the entrance is sordid, the staff are really unfriendly, they don't like or respect their customers at all. I booked 5 nights. I always make a reservation for two people. They wanted me to pay an extra 500 baht for a one I explained that I was sleeping alone in the hotel but had booked for two. The incompetent young man continued until...Elevator in front of my girlfriend and demanded I pay for the visitor. There was only a bar of soap in the room (no toothbrush, no cotton swabs, no body lotion, no toothpaste, no disinfectant Lotion only, the bare minimum, like in a two or three-star hôtel The price is far too high considering the poor quality of the entire set.

The first time I stayed at the Dynasty Grande was a couple of years ago when it was going through a remodel. My second stay is post-remodel and I didn’t find any significant improvement. The Dynasty Grande is a 3-star hotel since it has an “older or aged” appearance and very few amenities. It has the potential of being a 4-star but it needs a major refresh or remodel using an interior decorator. - There are several positives about the Dynasty Grande. - The location is perfect if you want to be close to a BTS station (Nana) and the Nana nightlife, but quiet enough for a good night sleep. - The Dynasty Grande has one of the longest hotel lap swimming pool. The pool has marked swimming lanes. This is one of the primary reasons that I like staying here because swimming is the perfect exercise in hot, humid and rainy Bangkok. - The Dynasty Grande has one of the best equipped hotel gym. It has two treadmills and an elliptical machine. There are a dozen or more CYBEX machines for a full-body workout. There is also a Smith barbell rack and dumbbells weighing as high as 60 pound which is the heaviest DB that I’ve ever found in a hotel gym. - The bathroom and the room are spacious. There is a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. - There is no restaurant, but that isn’t important since there are plenty of restaurants nearby. - The one thing that modern and higher class hotel rooms have are USB outlets. My room had no USB outlets which surprised and disappointed me. - There are no drawers to put away your clothes so you have to live out of you suitcase or just lay them out on open shelves. - There are better and cheaper hotels, but if you want the positives that I have identified (e.g. long lap swimming pool), the Dynasty Grande is a good choice.
