Easy Planet Bangkok Surawong

If you only need a room for luggage, a shower, and sleep, I think Red Planet can accommodate you. It’s a basic, clean room, great shower, the bed is good except the pillow is high but it’s the same as in most hotels. The noise could be very loud and noisy if you have to sleep, but for me, I'm quite easy to fall asleep and once I sleep I hardly hear anything so it’s fine for me. No water in the room but you can get it at 7-11 right below the hotel building. The price is affordable, a convenient location, near the bus station and bts but you will need to consider it depending on where you plan to visit otherwise it could be far and you have to take Bolt or Grab.

Noisy due to traffic. Linens and towels not changed until I complained. Front desk very helpful. No phone in room. Great location, shower water pressure, cleanliness. I extended my stay, so I like it.

By the way , the hotel has changed name to Easy Planet instead of Red Planet. I have stayed in this hotel for the past few visits and generally happy with it in view of the price they charged . The hotel is fairly new , probably 5 years old and overall maintenance is satisfactory though with flaw in bathroom. Location is consider not bad , about 10 min walk to bts Chongnonsi or Saladaeng. 7-11 is just annexed. Staff are friendly and issues attended promptly. The location is quite quiet at night. Some of the room's door are quite difficult to close , and this create noise when you close it forcefully at night.
