About

Chinatown institution over a century old, serving strong kopi brewed through an old-school filter system alongside a compact breakfast menu that stands apart from the area's usual rice and pork fare. Kaya toast, scrambled eggs, and cheap, honest coffee draw a loyal morning crowd.

One of the only places in Chinatown where you can eat an actual breakfast that doesn’t consist of pork, rice, or seafood. Great prices, tasty coffee, and the cafe has been around for over 100 years. They have Aircon on the second floor.

Strong coffee and very tasty breakfasts. I've been here every morning to each the Kaya and scrambled eggs. The coffee is so good as it looks like they are using some old school filter system. Cheap hidden away and authentic.

Great breakfast stop in Chinatown. Try the traditional strong coffee, Ceylon tea, and the coconut toast. The steamed buns are also delicious.

Situated at the tail end of the service road. Nicely done up. Service was prompt and friendly . Food wise , acceptable . Ordered fried rice. Breakfast set, French toast ( served with condensed milk , would be better with some butter or marmalade )and Ceylon milk tea. Total 290 bahts. Just want to check out the ambience.

Cool Chinese-themed café with nice decor, but the experience was disappointing. The shop was empty when we visited, and the owner asked if we were Thai — but her attitude made us feel like she wasn’t very nice toward Thai customers. When we asked how the drink would be served, she seemed annoyed, so we didn’t feel comfortable asking more. We were hoping to have our coffee in the traditional Thai old-style (กาแฟโบราณ) way, but just decided to skip it. The food had to be reheated, which means it wasn’t freshly made, and the drink was overly sweet with no real tea flavor 252 baht for a drink and 3 kinds of dim sum per pics. We were really hoping for better quality and authenticity. It’s a shame because the place has such a lovely concept and atmosphere — but it felt more like a tourist spot than a genuine local café. If more places keep overpricing or lowering quality like this, it will keep pushing tourists and customers away — and sadly, that’s already happening across the country.
