We stayed here for 21 days and I must say this hotel is great. The location and the service is definitely highend. Which is good but if you came to Thailand for the... local specialty, then this location is lacking. If you are looking for a high class hotel like what you would get for world class service then this hotel is spot on.

Great hotel. It has direct access to the Phrom Phong BTS station via the Emporium mall. The reception staff are very kind and professional. The only criticism from me is on the lack of good vegetarian food. The options are very less. And though they are some vegetarian food, the dish taste is just bad. For the breakfast buffet, I could only find some large chunks of half cooked baked/fried potatoes, some bread, juice and fruits.

Negative Reviews
The hotel is very centrally located, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. One of the highlights is the beautiful pool on the 7th floor — a great spot to relax and unwind with a nice view after a busy day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the kitchen setup is quite strange. Although it is oversized and even includes a stove, it is very poorly equipped — there are no pans, and there were only two pieces of cutlery available. It feels impractical and somewhat pointless to have such a large kitchen without the basic utensils needed to actually use it. Another very unusual aspect is that you have to press a button to request housekeeping if you want your room to be cleaned. We have never experienced this in a five-star hotel before, and it felt quite odd. On the positive side, the underground parking garage available for hotel guests is excellent and very convenient. Overall, it was a good stay, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, especially considering the hotel’s star rating.

I just had food there because of the conference. I had their food in two different occasions. But I had to say, very plain, very disappointing experience. Management team of this hotel should eat them by themselves to find out. The best description is plain, bland, uncharacteristic. Plus the temperature was not warm either. I can clearly taste the cost cut in each dish, too.

Clarification Response(updated at 14:55 09/29) 1. There was absolutely no room upgrade provided during my stay. I remained in the same room category that I originally paid for. I stayed for two nights, September 27 and 28, but ended up being moved across three different rooms (4018, 38?? [forgot exact number], and 3917). Rooms 4018 and 3917 had balconies, but they were definitely not upgrades. Claiming that I was upgraded is simply not true. 2. Room 3917 was even more absurd. Late at night I discovered that the shower fixture was not properly secured, so the shower head could not be hung up for use. The next morning I found the carpet soaking wet — when I stepped on it, water literally seeped out like I was walking on a beach. I have both photos and videos to prove this. At this point the situation has become so ridiculous that I can’t even be angry anymore. ———————————— I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience at Emporium Suites by Chatrium so that other guests are aware. When I returned to my room a little after 9:00 p.m., I discovered that the bathroom floor was flooded — not just a few drops, but a large puddle of water. I immediately called the front desk before 9:30 p.m. The staff member who answered could not understand my English well and asked me to repeat several times. Housekeeping came, identified it as a roof leak, but only wiped the floor instead of fixing the issue. Because of this, I missed my only chance to visit the nearby malls before 10:00 p.m. (the main reason I chose this hotel for its location). The most unacceptable part was the duty manager’s response: he told me that since housekeeping had already been called, I “could just leave the room.” This showed complete disregard for my belongings, my time, and the seriousness of the problem. Eventually, I was moved to another room. However, the new room did not have a balcony, which was not what I originally booked and paid for. After I had already unpacked and settled in, being forced to repack and move was extremely inconvenient. For a hotel that advertises itself as 5-star, this experience was far below expectations — both in terms of facilities and, more importantly, staff attitude and professionalism. I have formally filed complaints with management and relevant authorities. I hope the hotel will take this seriously and improve, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property.Worst ever experience.
