Fx Hotel Metrolink Makkasan

We landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport and the first thing we did was hop on the train into the city. We got off at Makkasan Station where it connects with the MRT, stepped outside, checked Google Maps, and within minutes realized that FX Hotel Makkasan Bangkok was the perfect location. The rates were very reasonable, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything felt easy from the moment we walked in. The on-site restaurant was convenient, but honestly the best part was the proximity to everything. Trains, MRT, main roads, food, and shopping were all right there. What really stood out was the front desk staff. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They even called me right away when my elderly father accidentally left a sum of money in the room safe. That level of honesty and care says everything about the integrity of the hotel and its team. If you want a clean, well-located hotel with great value, excellent staff, and unbeatable access to transportation, this is a fantastic choice.

The room I had was nice, clean, well equipped. Coffee, tea provided, bedside lamp and power outlets. Mattress was a little bit sagging, but comfortable, and it didn't affect my sleep. Bathroom was nice, but water pressure was a bit low and coming in bursts. I still had some good showers without problems. The hotel is down an alley, which shields it somewhat from street noise, and yet it is very close to metro, light rail, airport express, water bus on the Saen Saep canal. Overall, transportation opportunities are all over and within a 5 minute walk. It is also in an expat area, not the main tourist area, so you're free from gogo bars and massage parlours but still have lots of good mid-range restaurants close by. Service was friendly and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast. Overall, it hit all my targets and I was very happy with my stay.

Lovely hotel with easy access to the Airport Train and MRT. The staff are friendly, helpful and full of welcome smiles. The rooms are clean and adequate with strong WiFi in all areas. There was a good selection for breakfast and the Thai style breakfast was 1st class. They have a baggage store to leave your bag when travelling. I will definitely use this hotel again.
