Golden Tulip Mandison Suites

Booked a family room with my sisters and it was perfect! lovely staff, the best breakfast spread. Location is near the center and a free shuttle will take you back and forth to the main road. Definitely booking this again on my next visit!

I stayed at the Golden Tulip in Bangkok, and overall, it was a pretty good stay. The rooms were really big—actually, we got a free upgrade, which was amazing—and the staff were super friendly and helpful, so big thanks to them. The rooms were nice, and the breakfast was really good—tons of options, including a variety of Indian food. There’s also a pool with a bar, which is a nice bonus, and I liked that they had a tuk-tuk service that takes you closer to the main road. But the location wasn’t perfect—while it’s near a main road, it’s actually tucked inside a side lane, so you have to walk about 10 minutes from the Main Street to get to the hotel, which can be a bit tiring. On top of that, it’s also kind of hard to get a taxi—since it’s off the main road, taxis don’t always want to drive there because of the traffic, so it takes longer to get a ride. That said, there are plenty of 7-Elevens, stores and malls, so it’s convenient in that way. Overall, it was a good stay, just not the best location for getting around easily. Wouldn’t say it’s luxury hotel because price was a bit high and some stuff built it’s quite outdated, also quite hot inside the room if the aircon is not turned on.

I stayed at Golden Tulip Mandison for 10 days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always greeting with a smile and ready to assist. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made my stay even more comfortable. A special mention to my room attendant, Tawan, who was very trustworthy and efficient. He cleaned my room daily even when I wasn’t around, and I truly appreciated his honesty — I sometimes forgot to lock my safe, but never had anything missing. That kind of integrity really stands out. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with all amenities — smart TV, safe, bathtub, refrigerator, and a comfortable sofa. The swimming pool area offers a lovely view of Bangkok’s skyline — you can spot a few high-rise buildings, giving you a glimpse of the city’s charm. The best part is the location — perfectly situated between all the main party areas of Bangkok, yet still very peaceful and quiet inside the property. It’s a great balance of convenience and comfort. Overall, an excellent stay with great hospitality. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok for business or leisure.
