Grand Mandarin Residence

The hotel is conveniently located not far from the MRT yellow line, the waterboat taxi, the Bankapi mall and the international hospital. You can reach all of them by feet in 10-15 minutes. The area is quite low cost and not filled with tourists. The locals in the area are friendly and respectful. You won't see any "Hey brother, do you want a new bag?" guys here. When I checked in, the room had a light cigarette smell. Apparently, someone smoked on the balcony and some of the smell came in the room. The service immediately did a deep cleaning and sprayed some refresherant. Other than that, I have no complaints. The room is a bit old, but had lots of space, the shower was warm and strong, the air conditioning brand new and the bed comfortable. They have delivery shelves for both food and goods delivery right in front of the elevator. That way ordering Grab food or stuff from Shopee is very simple. Last but not least, they have a very friendly and welcoming reception. If you have any questions or issues, they will help you with a smile. Some of them speak very good English, too.

Great place....I have stayed here on several occasions long term and this place is affordable, convenient, and clean.....there is a 7 eleven very close by, and a pharmacy and resturant on the ground floor...the hotel reception speak English and are flexible with checking times....the Burmese housekeeping staff are nice and helpful....I would stay again..and recommend other travelers to give this place a try 😀

We had nice room and also balcony , it was our first destination we could walk to the mall local bazaar 3 seven eleven next us. I like this hotel and stuff. And I will never forget the moments in the balcony and waking up with the birds singing ❤️❤️❤️
