My girlfriend and I started our Thailand trip here. To us, everything was perfect. The rooms were beautiful; bathroom had a huge shower and tub, bed was large and comfortable. I went to the rooftop pool several times and really enjoyed that. Hot tub and gym are very good as well. I did get a massage there which was a great price and among the best I've ever had. I think the thing that stood out most was how kind all of the staff were. You can tell that they all take service really seriously. They were a big part of why we enjoyed our stay so much

We enjoyed our stay so much. The room had an amazing view and was clean and beautifully decorated. We loved to start the day in "The fit club". A special big thank you to New Jiw and Tong, who made a memorable workout in the fit club and Mai Thai training by the pool. They are so skilled, dedicated and polite- always with a big smile. We can't wait to stay at this hotel again, and will fully recommend it.

I really liked this hotel. There are lots of room options and a Concierge that is knowledgeable. There is always someone available to assist you. The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of options. They do not sell alcohol at this hotel, but there is a 24 hour grocery store with a 5 minute walk that sells alcohol. The rooms were really nice and for a larger room in January it was about $250.00 a night. The views were fantastic. They have a nice infinity pool , a kids play area and a pretty solid gym. The location is decent depending on what you are wanting. There are a lot of higher end clubs, rooftop bars, and restaurants nearby. However, there are not as many small or cheaper bars and pubs and if there is traffic it can take a while to get to Soi 11 or Nana or other places. However, traffic in Bangkok can be insane, so be sure to give yourself extra time.

Beautiful hotel but not quite 5‑star in service or amenities for Thailand Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55 is a lovely, spotless hotel with great facilities, but my stay didn’t fully live up to the 5‑star standard advertised. The spa is gorgeous, and the onsen is a unique experience (note: no swimwear allowed due to traditional customs). My first 90‑minute aroma oil massage was incredible — one of the best I’ve had. However, the second massage I booked was only half as good and cost more, which was disappointing. Service around the pool and 5th‑floor seating area was the weakest part of the stay. It was difficult to find staff to order anything, and when you finally did, food and drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive. Another surprise was that the hotel is completely alcohol‑free. This wasn’t mentioned at booking or check‑in, and there’s no hotel bar. For a 5‑star property, clearer communication would have been expected. Luckily, there’s a lovely Japanese bar across the road with great staff and tasty snacks. Overall, the hotel looks the part but doesn’t quite deliver the service or amenities you’d expect for the price.
