I stumbled upon it randomly. Nice old ladies working there, very polite. I bought a scarf, it was not cheap but also not too expensive.

We were looking for silk cloths and found this highly recommended place to look for it, driving there wasn't easy as the road leading to the location consists of smaller roads where our rather wide vehicle needs to exercise more careful maneuvering. When we finally arrived at the main entrance it looked like we had entered into someone's private property which is very beautiful and does not hold any hint that there is a silk shop located there. Once we found a small parking area to park and were assisted by a elderly gentleman who somehow knows what we are looking for. No shoes were allowed in the shop and we had to leave our shoes outside and inside the shop was jaw dropping, setting out foot on the old lacquered solid wood flooring and were greeted by a warm smiling elderly lady who spoke little to no english. We were welcomed to look around and shortly after that we were greeted by Mrs Siliporn (hopefully we spelled her name right) who can communicate with us in English and is able to explain to us about the different silk they have on hand, and even allowed us to view first hand how the silk is manually made using an old manual weaving loom machine and how fascinating to watch how much technology has advanced in creating such fine work of arts. Of course we had purchased the beautiful silk cloth to bring back with us, and this place is also visited by the local designers who paid a weekly visit for their beautiful silk cloth. They also sell silk related items like, dress, shirt, neck ties and bags there and also chatted with them for a while on how they used to have a lot of workers manning the machines, but as the worker aged and retired the next generation do not like to work on such difficult jobs anymore. Thank you H.M. Factory and Mrs Siliporn for enriching our knowledge in silk cloth and taking your time to entertain our queries. We will be back next time again.
