Happy Station Bangkok

Stayed at a private room in this hostel and while the room was smaller, it was perfect as a solo traveler! The place was clean with strong AC, decent WiFi and housekeeping and giving you water bottles every day! Staff are also friendly but do keep in mind that there is no 24 hr front desk. It’s self check in and checkout between midnight to 8 AM. The location is amazing as it’s on a side street yet also easily accessible to the Hua Limpong MRT station that’s only a 30 second walk from the hostel! Definitely staying here again if traveling in Bangkok on my own.

As a Belgian first-time solo traveler in Thailand, I was a bit nervous about staying in a hostel (especially when it comes to noise and cleanliness) But from the moment I arrived at Happy Station Bangkok, all those worries disappeared. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. A few things really stood out to me: - Every single staff member was incredibly kind and friendly, and they genuinely took the time to get to know me personally. - The hostel is exceptionally clean, thanks to the attention to small details. Even though I made my bed every morning, the staff would remake it. Shoes aren’t allowed in the rooms (slippers are fine), and even my towel was neatly folded again by the staff. - The hostel is very peaceful, and you can sleep wonderfully in your own private “cocoon.” - The double beds are AMAZING—super comfortable! - There are several long-term guests who return regularly, which, together with the staff, creates a warm, family-like atmosphere. Lilly, the boss lady, is absolutely lovely, kind, caring, and strong (definitely a woman not to mess with 🫶). Last but not least: it was almost my birthday, and even though I had already left, Lilly surprised me with a small birthday present. That really shows how much she cares. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would 100% recommend this hostel.

Happy Station Hotel/Hostel exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, friendly, and unbelievably helpful—making check‑in a breeze. The place is immaculate: every surface gleams, the beds are spotless, and the shared spaces feel fresh and well‑maintained. I stayed in a private room, but the open layout gave me a chance to peek into the dorms and see how tidy and comfortable each bunk is—seriously, the dorm beds look better than many hotel rooms! The facilities are top‑notch: fast Wi‑Fi, a cozy lounge area, a fully stocked kitchen, and even a small rooftop terrace for a quick sunset. And the location? Perfect. It’s just steps from the railway station and the underground, so getting around the city was a breeze. All in all, a fantastic blend of cleanliness, organization, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be back (and probably book a dorm bed next time just to hang out in that awesome communal vibe).
