HeySmile Dental Clinic (Sukhumvit 21 Asoke)

I was disappointed by the lack of price transparency at this clinic! The price list at the clinic clearly shows that a dental post costs 3,500 Baht, with no indication that the price may vary. However, after the procedure today, I was charged 5,000 Baht. When I asked about the difference, the staff explained that the price can range from 3,500 to 5,000 Baht depending on the condition of the tooth. The issue is that this range is not mentioned anywhere on their price list, which can be misleading for patients. I also only had a dental post done and did not receive a crown, so the explanation referring to “post and crown” pricing was confusing.

I found this dental clinic on Facebook through their Airflow ad. According to the ad it would be a consultation as well as airflow. The whole appointment felt extremely rushed and after a total of 20mins it was all done. The dentist looked into my mouth for only just a few seconds and then recommended to have two teeth removed and two teeth treated with fillings. Today I went to another, much cheaper clinic, where the doctor took time to look at my teeth and did four fillings - the two teeth that the dentist at HeySmile recommended to remove only had minor surface cavities, so removal would have been overkill. What I liked about this clinic is that the woman at the reception was very friendly.

I visited for urgent dental treatment. The clinic changed my dentist last minute (different from the one who previously examined me) and communication was unclear. The dentist was visibly angry and behaved in an aggressive, hostile manner. As a patient, I felt unsafe and had to leave without treatment. Front desk staff were polite, but the clinical experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. I’m open to updating this review if the clinic resolves the issue by arranging my appointment with the original consulting dentist and ensuring professional communication.
