If you want to experience a truly authentic, old-school Bangkok breakfast where the locals eat, Hia Tai Kee is the place to go. Stepping inside feels like traveling back in time—the vintage wooden furniture, the old family portraits on the walls, and the bustling, unpretentious atmosphere are amazing. I highly recommend the pan-fried eggs with minced pork and Chinese sausage, and their classic toast with egg. Pair it with a strong iced tea or coffee. It’s a traditional Thai-Chinese kopitiam experience that you can't miss!

Really felt like we walked into a piece of vintage thailand at this restaurant. The whole atmosphere was so warm and it was filled with locals. The place closes early so do come in for breakfast early. highly recommend if you are visiting any museums nearby or just looking for some old school thailand breakfast.
