Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit by IHG

We try Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit this time and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to BTS Asok and Phrom Phong, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with good soundproofing for a city hotel. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping did a great job. Check-in was smooth, and the staffs are friendly and professional. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to both Western and Asian tastes. The dining area was spacious and well managed, even during peak hours. Facilities such as the swimming pool and gym were also well kept. One area that could be improved is the in-room TV experience. The selection of TV programmes was quite limited and did not include major international news channels such as CNN, BBC, or CNA. Additionally, the TV was very slow to respond when changing channels, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit offers good value for money with a great location and comfortable stay, but improving the TV system would make the experience even better.

Amazing staff Comfortable bed Cleaning is amazing thanks to Fern doing amazing job at our room as housekeeping AC is nice and great Bathroom Nice view from 22 floor Lobby and concierge staff were helpful Check in was smooth. 10 day stay during Christmas and new year celebrations was great Amazing location next to all top restaurants and metro. Gym and pool are amazing, we had really fun. My family enjoyed a lot. Thanks to Fern, Moon, Fluke, Beam and other great staff. Observation and suggestion Breakfast has very limited as 5% food being pure vegetarian despite 25% Indian vegetarian people, we gave suggestions and they started few items daily, hope they keep more vegetarian options daily as permanent food

Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit, gracefully standing on the prime spot in renowned Sukhumvit area, was admittedly one of the very convenient Bangkok’s hotels. It could easily be accessed via a few minutes walk from either Prompong or Asoke BTS Sky Train Station and Sukhumvit MRT Underground Train Station. It has Emsphere Mall, one of The Em District’s 3 big upscale malls, as its next-door neighbor. Therefore, working, shopping or sightseeing in Bangkok was very convenient when choosing to stay at this hotel. I stayed at this hotel more than 100 times. Whenever I stepped into its G floor, I could felt a warm welcome by its Concierge team. They were so attentive and helpful. Once proceeding to its 9 floor where its lobby was located, its Reception team gave me a swift check-in and always assigned me to my preferred Premier Room where I could enjoy a beautiful bird-eye view of Sky Train and Bangkok’s skyscrapers. I often felt that I had my private gym when I had my morning exercises at its Gym on 8 floor which was fully equipped with both cardio and weight training machines as Inas the only person in the gym. Its buffet breakfast was provided at Zeta Restaurant on 8 floor with a wide variety of entrees including western, Thai, Japanese and Chinese ones. Egg dishes could be requested in any menu according to my preference while its pastry dishes were freshly baked daily. Its Executive Lounge on 9 floor next to its lobby was prepared for selected guests with complimentary afternoon tea sets and evening happy hours with cocktails and canapés which more hot dishes were being added to selected guests. All in all, I always felt that this hotel was truly my 2nd home in Bangkok whenever I visited Bangkok.
