It’s inside a small room but the room is very artistic, cozy and beautiful. The cafe has several menu ranging from matcha, houjicha, genmaicha, etc. They can do both hot/cold, clear, latte, and you can choose a pairing dessert too. They have 2 cute cats, if you are lucky, you can get to meet and play with them. There’s no car parking lot. But you can try to park in front of their house inside the soi.

Specialty Matcha cafe in Onnut area. They offer wide selection of matcha for us to choose from including seasonal choice and also the house blend. The dine-in space also offers Matcha and Wagashi in set. I got to try the homemade Nerikiri made from white bean paste outter and fluffy green beans center. This turned out to be one of the best I ever had in Bangkok so far. The sweetness was just right and not too overwhelming. The green beans filling inside also gives Thai sweet-like kind of texture, this thoughtful adjustment also made this menu become relevant to the local in good way. From the wide range of matcha selection on shelf, I got myself a clear drink of hot matcha brewed from Nakamura Tokichi's matcha powder. The note was grassy and nutty hint. Umami came along just right too. The owner and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming, even if it was my first visit there. If you are a cat lover, with sufficient luck, you will get a chance to encounter the 2 cats at the back of the shop as well.

Very hole in the wall matcha experience in someone's house. Reservations required. Will come back. The owner was very knowledgeable about each type of matcha and how it's prepared. There are also limited time matcha to try that's imported from Japan.
