I stayed one night on the 19th floor using Social Security and my company group insurance. I would like to sincerely thank and compliment all staff members in every department from the doctors and nurses to all supporting staff. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and always smiling. They explained everything clearly and patiently, which really helped me feel more relaxed and comfortable during my stay. Even though I wasn’t feeling well physically, their warm care truly made me feel much better. I’m very impressed and truly grateful. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me.

Medical Treatment under Social Security at Hua Chiew Hospital I am a Social Security beneficiary under Section 39, registered as a self-insured individual with Hua Chiew Hospital as my designated medical facility. At first, I thought I would just choose this hospital temporarily and switch to another one later. However, after receiving continuous treatment for several chronic conditions, I have come to realize that Hua Chiew Hospital is equipped with highly modern medical technology—on par with many renowned private hospitals in the Sukhumvit area where I had previously sought treatment. Although I am receiving care under the Social Security Scheme, the hospital’s management, cleanliness, and overall service quality are truly impressive, no less than those of leading private hospitals. Most importantly, I have been under the attentive care of several highly skilled and dedicated specialists, including: Cardiology – Dr. Santi Ritvichai, Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiology, Heart and Vascular Center Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders – Dr. Phattharawan Komutbutr, Endocrinologist, Diabetes and Metabolism Center Orthopedics – Dr. Kittiphum Chokcharaskij, Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine Specialist Retina and Vitreous Diseases – Dr. Puangpetch Nakapong, Ophthalmologist, Retina and Vitreous Specialist And most recently, I would like to express my special appreciation to Urology and Kidney Diseases – Dr. Kiri Komwutikan, Urologist, whose expertise and professionalism have left a deep impression on me. At first, I felt somewhat uneasy speaking with him because of his serious and straightforward demeanor. Yet, as I continued my treatment and follow-ups, I realized that his manner reflects a high level of professionalism and genuine concern for his patients’ well-being. Despite being concise and focused during consultations—understandably so, given the number of patients he cares for—Dr. Kiri always demonstrates great attention to detail and commitment to providing the best possible care. I have undergone two surgeries under his care, and during both procedures, I felt completely safe and reassured. Although he initially appears stern, he is actually warm and has a great sense of humor. During one of my operations, performed under spinal block anesthesia, I could hear him lightening the mood in the operating room, making the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. I truly appreciate the excellent care I have received from Dr. Kiri Komwutikan and the entire medical and nursing team at Hua Chiew Hospital. I would like to share my experience under the Social Security scheme. The doctor and nurse was professional and attentive, and I appreciated the clear diagnosis and care. After receiving an injection, I was asked to wait 5 minutes for observation before going to the pharmacy, which caused my queue to be delayed. When I first asked at Counter 1 whether I needed to hand in any documents, I was told to wait for my name to be called. Later, I noticed on the queue screen that my number had already passed. After waiting for another 30 minutes, I asked again. Unfortunately, the staff at Counter 1 did not say anything but sighed, which made me feel uncomfortable. Eventually, when I spoke to the staff at Counter 2 and gave my queue number, I was able to receive my medication. Overall, the waiting time for the medicine was longer than both the consultation and the injection combined. I understand the hospital may be very busy with many patients, but I personally felt the service could be improved in terms of communication and support. I have since transferred to another hospital under the Social Security scheme, but I sincerely thank the doctor and medical team for their care.
