Perfect location and BTS train view, very convenient to go anywhere (just walk to the BTS right in front of the door). My family spent the Lunar new year of 2026 here. The room is large enough, and cosy. Services are good and caring, with driver to the airport. You can find 7 Eleven nearby to buy food and needed stuffs. Don’t forget to visit Lumphini Park and the finance streets around. Thanks I Residence for hosting us.

I Residence Hotel Silom is all about location: right next to BTS Chong Nonsi, perfect for exploring Silom, Sathorn and the rest of Bangkok. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with air conditioning, Wi‑Fi and flat‑screen TV, though some could use better maintenance. I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and terrace, great for cooling down after a day in the city, and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety for the price. Service is generally friendly and helpful, but details like occasional Wi‑Fi issues or key card problems can be a minor inconvenience. Overall, it’s a solid, good‑value base in Bangkok if you prioritise convenience and facilities over luxury finishes.

Negative Reviews
We stayed at I Residence Hotel Silom for two nights. The rooms are absolutely nothing like the photos they show online. Because of certain issues, you can’t even properly enjoy the few good things the hotel supposedly has, like the breakfast or the pool. I mean, how can a room not even have a mirror? We were four people and booked two separate rooms, and both of them had a bad smell. We stayed in the wood-colored rooms. The bathroom sink was so small that you couldn’t even place your belongings there. This is my second time visiting Bangkok, and this hotel honestly made me feel discouraged about coming here again. Since we were in a hurry, we didn’t read many reviews, and the photos were misleading, so we ended up booking it. But more important than anything else was the attitude of the hotel staff. We have stayed in many very good hotels before, and we have never experienced treatment like this. I can’t say much about the other employees—at least some of them were a little friendly and polite. However, the lady whose badge said “Assistant Front Office Manager,” who seemed older than the other staff members, had a very unpleasant attitude. She acted as if we had forced ourselves to stay there. Your hotel is already in very poor condition, and it’s impossible that you are unaware of the state of those rooms. On top of that, the looks and the unfriendly, sour expressions were really unnecessary. Many reviews already mention most of the issues I’ve talked about here. So please read the reviews carefully before going. Otherwise, you might end up feeling so disappointed that you won’t want to come back to Bangkok again.

Pretty awful experience living in this hotel. 1. The room’s window is facing the parking space, having limited sunlight entering the room. There is a creepy mirror setup facing directly the bed. 2. I was going to stay for 5 nights. I asked for a room change on the 1st night, but they kept saying the hotel is fully booked and kept asking me to go back and ask over and over again (what kind of service it is?), but still i wasnt able to change my room at last. 3. The room was supposed to be for two guests, but there were only two pillows. I asked for two more. They said I need to pay for that. Also only one key card was given. The electricity went off whenever i left the room with the only key card, making me not possible to charge my power bank and other stuff. And when I asked for one more keycard, they said I need to pay for that as well… 4. There were uncleaned dust found in several spots in the room. And also insects…. During my stay, I saw two cockroaches in the room…. Its very disgusting! 5. The door lock was broken one night. And I had to wait for almost an hour for the engineer to fix the lock before I could enter the room again. 6. The only good thing about this hotel was that the staff at the hotel restaurant provided good services, unlike the receptionists and door men, who were all kinda rude.

Stayed here for three days and two nights in December 2025. Family of 4, with two young children under 5. We had checked reviews of this place prior to booking, and we weren't expecting anything stellar, but neither were we expecting so many things wrong with our stay either. The room being spacious and the staff being thoughtful enough to prepare an additional bed without any prompting were probably the only good things about it. While the room had windows, the curtains opened up to a building inches away so we couldn't get any natural light. We requested for a room on a higher floor but they told us even a room on the 8th floor had exactly the same view in the wing we were given. How high would I need to go to escape the concrete slabs of the next door building? There was one measly aircon unit which didn't cool the entire room. There were some spots directly under the aircon which was so cold, and other spots like the toilet which was unbelievably hot and stuffy. The aircon was also spoilt when we came in (the vent couldn't swing). Someone came to rectify the angle which the vent was placed, but it still couldn't swing to aid in the cooling of the room. Probably worse of all, the room we stayed in mysteriously malfunctioned while the family was out shopping and we were locked out of the room, so we couldn't get our young children into bed for their afternoon naps. The staff rectified the problem promptly, but I think it just speaks to the age of the hotel and the age of the technology the hotel used for it's doors. Additionally we also discovered that if you wanted to use the hotel safe, you needed to request for someone to open it, something I've never had to do at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Overall quite a terrible experience. Would not come here again despite the really awesome location.
