Would recommend anyone to book this hotel! Staff is very friendly, there is nice and quite affordable breakfast and the rooms are very clean and pretty. I saw some people complaining about noise from the street, but I thought it was pretty quiet and we slept very good. It’s a 8min walk to the skyline station and the location of the hotel is very good since it is close to anything!

Cute boutique hotel. Staff very hospitable, rooms have a nicely industrial-design, and separate shower/toilet rooms. The bottom floor has a cute cafe with pastries, sandwiched and coffee. A few good restaurants in the area and a short 10-min walk to BTS Thong Lo station

Fantastic location just a few minutes’ walk to Thong Lo BTS station, great staff who go above and beyond to serve your needs, and the room is spacious. There are some noises from the outside during daytime, something to be expected since Sukhumvit 36 is one of the few soi connecting Rama 4 Rd. to Sukhumvit Rd., but during the night the area is relatively quiet. The view is also pretty nice. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay during my (long-overdue) homecoming. Thank you for such a fantastic experience.

Negative Reviews
Spent four nights at Ir-On. There is nothing totally horrible about it, but I think you can get a better place for your money. The rooms are designed to look very nice in photos, but are not practical for travelers. The bathroom and shower doors are semi-transparent frosted glass and do not go up all the way, so they are not private. You will hear everyone pooping. The "balcony" is where the AC unit exhaust comes out, making it unpleasant to sit on if you'd like to keep the AC on. The electrical outlets by the bed are badly designed. The sink has no hot water hookup. Rolling luggage is difficult to maneuver because there are many small stairs and the flooring has uneven tile. Good for Instagram, but far less comfortable than cheaper places in the area. There is motorbike noise, like anywhere else in Bangkok, so pack ear plugs if you are sensitive. The hotel rations you to two water bottles per day, per room, and will charge you for more money. If you are staying for a while, you should bring your own water. For a "luxury" hotel, I would expect at least a water filter in the lobby, which is a standard amenity in much cheaper hotels. Service is friendly and helpful. Their staff can communicate in Chinese and English (maybe more) in addition to Thai. All in all, this place is fine for a night or two, and the location is decent, but there are many other hotels at the same price or cheaper that are better designed.

The most noisy hotel I've ever been at, and I am not even that sensitive to sounds but it is extremely bothering. I think it is due to 1. the balcony making there be no sound barrier between you and the street, lots of loud cars and motorcycles raging by; 2. the pipes are not in the walls so you can hear the water traveling through the building; 3. the door and the lock is extremely loud, you can hear the door being slammed shut and locked night and day. The room itself is beautiful but I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and neither will I ever come back.
