room: meh. it has everything you need but in an extremely compact way. huge surprise that kettle and drinking water is shared by the entire floor? you have to boil water + top up along the corridor and checkin staff did not mention this lol. had to find out myself in the morning. the floor itself is sorta dimly lit, like it’s trying to give grand budapest hotel but it’s not working. toilet fan is extremely loud and the rooms are also pretty dim. can’t really complain given the location + price but for the ‘hype’ and how swanky it looks downstairs, the room was sort of all style no substance. service: besides the minor lapse in information, very pleasant and accommodating ! location: it’s Ari, so it’s good. easy to walk (sorta) and get a grab/moto to the main road. vibe: i’ve seen reviews that says this hotel has a party vibe - can confirm lol. it’s good if that’s what you’re looking for! if not…. maybe stay elsewhere.

This is a hotel I truly wanted to love because the rooms look beautiful and well-designed. But after actually staying here, it was really disappointing. The parking space is extremely limited only about three spots. And the noise level in the room was terrible. The staff kept moving tables and sofas all night long. From around 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, there were constant sounds of moving items and people talking. The walls are very thin, almost like plywood, so you can hear every single word the staff say. I’m honestly confused why they don’t do this kind of work during the daytime instead. Another thing: I asked for an extra bottle of water at the reception, but instead of providing it as a basic amenity, I was charged 30 baht per bottle. Lastly, the doors in the rooms are very stiff. You have to slam them quite hard just to get them to close properly, and it happens with every room. Overall, if these issues can be improved, this could actually be a really great hotel because it already has so much potential.

I booked their deluxe room, and even that felt extremely cramped. The moment you open the door, you’re met with a random wooden board awkwardly positioned right in front of you for no logical reason. Past that is the double bed, slightly smaller than a king, with an uncomfortably hard mattress that immediately makes you question the booking. Storage is limited to one small shelf and a mini-fridge, and there’s virtually no walking space. The combination of dark furniture and dark walls makes the room feel dingy and claustrophobic. The washroom is reasonably clean, but the layout is baffling: the sink is beside the bed, while the washroom itself doesn’t have one. The “deluxe” balcony is barely half a balcony with a quarter-opening door, and the view is basically an AC unit right in your face, blocking everything else. The team didn’t feel particularly friendly, and overall the room experience felt cheap. To be fair, the lobby is decent, and the ground floor with the cafeteria and pool, is far better maintained than the rooms and lift area. Staff does keep the premises clean, but don’t expect any amenities; everything is “buy from outside,” and there are no welcome drinks either. You will also he hearing noise from other rooms and outside so I’m guessing the walls are not sound proof or anything. When you take a look from outside, you’ll notice that they have divided each room and balcony into two for profit. Hence, the cramped space 😒
