JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one felt worth it. This is actually the second time I’ve given a five star review to this hotel and this team specifically. I’m a Marriott guy, and when I get asked why I stay loyal to the brand I say “the people.” The reason for that Is because of teams like the one at the JW Marriott Bangkok. From the second you walk in, you can feel the difference. Polly greeted me by name even though it had been a year since my last visit, which honestly blew me away. She introduced me to Benjawan, who was just as great, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Polly and the whole team deserve a round of applause. You can really tell that they are motivated and determined to deliver a top level of experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location, but what stays with you is how they make you feel. That’s why I keep coming back.

Really nice! The rooms have been renovated and they’re modern but still stylishly Thai. The lobby is grand but shows its age. Platinum benefits were excellent: received an upgrade and had access to the executive lounge. The lounge offerings were incredible. Had one of the best welcome amenities of sticky rice. 3pcs of laundry was included for each day which was great - but one of my dresses was returned stinky.

Following recent renovations, the rooms have moved away from heavy, traditional styles toward a "contemporary Thai" look—think sleek gray tones, light wood flooring, and marble accents. ​Comfort: The beds are consistently praised for being plush and comfortable, featuring high-quality linens and a selection of pillows. ​Tech & Work: Rooms are well-equipped with 55-inch TVs, fast Wi-Fi, and a proper workspace, which is a hallmark of the JW brand. ​Bathrooms: Spacious, marble-clad, and featuring both a deep soaking tub and a separate rain shower. The JW Marriott Bangkok is a "safe bet" that feels anything but basic. It’s perfect for travelers who want 5-star amenities, world-class dining, and a central location without sacrificing the warmth of Thai hospitality. I visited their Bangkok Baking Company and JW Cafe, and not only food, but also service was remarkable. #JWMarriott #Bangkok
