The cafe has a very relaxing vibe. Drinks are just okay, but the bakery is really good! The only downside is that the echo is terrible—the sound travels a lot. When I was there, a group at an inner table was talking loudly about work, despite being a fair distance away. The staff are lovely and energetic. It's not quite suitable for working just yet, and power sockets are limited to specific areas only

Exploring a new Matcha place, I tried the Strawberry Cream Pan and Iced Coconut Matcha. The matcha was standard, not particularly special, but it was good. The dessert wasn’t too sweet and complemented the matcha well. The atmosphere here is very cozy and conducive to business conversations or a small date.

Visited KANE T. - HUA MAK 17 recently and honestly, the atmosphere alone makes it worth the trip. I ordered a matcha with shio-pan set — the shio-pan was balanced nicely, not overly salty or too buttery, while the matcha itself had a rich nutty and creamy profile. I’d recommend asking for less sweetness if you’re a more traditional matcha lover. The café space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with plenty of seating, plus lots of photogenic corners. Outside, there’s a zen-style garden area that gives the place a calm Japanese-inspired vibe. Even the restroom was impressive — very clean and air-conditioned, which is surprisingly rare. Their dessert selection also looked amazing, definitely something I’d come back to try next time. A few things to note: there are only around two power outlets available, so it may not be the best café for long work sessions. Also, during peak hours the café gets very crowded and quite noisy. Overall, a very aesthetic and enjoyable matcha café with a strong atmosphere and quality drinks. Worth visiting, especially for matcha fans and café hoppers.
