Khaosan Social Capsule Hostel

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Social without being party. Welcoming without being pushy. Big beds with plenty of space and staff are very polite and friendly. Nice outdoor social area / bar for yoga / evening events

It's not super convenient to get to from whichever airport you may fly into, BKK or DMK, but it's very nice and has a lot to do nearby. The people are all super friendly and welcoming, and if you're like me - travelling solo for the first time and nervous about making new friends - it's perfect, because they do lots of social stuff like tours and dinners and movies that help to bring people out of their shells. The rooms are also pretty nice, very comfortable beds and a good deal of privacy despite it being a hostel, but don't expect them to look anything like they do on Agoda, or you'll be disappointed. What they have is good either way; it's clean, cozy, warm, and for me personally, the social aspect is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience staying at khaosan social capsule hostel. The location is great, close to khao san road, but the noise was never a problem. I felt the staff was extremely kind, always making you feel welcomed and greeting you with a friendly smile. The rooms and the bathroom were clean/great size for comfort. The lockers were the perfect storage as well. I enjoyed that the hostel was a great balance of social for solo travelers. There are many activities and tours you can book while staying here. Lots of fun and a wonderful experience. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Bangkok. Thank you for a great stay.
