About

Kuay Teow Khae in Sukhumvit is an excellent street noodle soup stand offering authentic Thai food at unbeatable prices for breakfast or lunch. Located in a neighborhood setting rather than a mall, this represents the genuine Bangkok experience that travelers seek with noodles cooked fresh to order.

The noodle texture is perfect and the broth is flavorful whether choosing Tom Yum egg noodles or the "everything" bowl at 70 baht offering crispy balls, meatballs, crispy pork, and dumplings. Friendly staff and reasonable pricing make this an ideal introduction to Thai street food for visitors.

Fell under mark’s trap and ordered the recommended everything in a super big bowl. Felt full for the entire day. There are dumplings, meat balls, crispy ball, crispy pork and more. Tasty. Friendly folks. Very limited street side seating.

Excellent noodles in an excellent location. I'm not a fan of big mall food courts, this type of place is what Bangkok is all about. I was lucky to get a seat at 10am on a Friday morning but placed my order for Tom Yum egg noodles with crispy pork and wantons. I was asked if I wanted spicy by the friendly guy who spoke English. They arrived quickly followed by the obligatory bowl of broth to accompany. After adding my extra condiments to personal taste, I poured the broth over the noodles and gave it a good stir. The first thing that I noticed is that the pork wantons were nice and plump with good, tasting filling. Minced pork, crispy pork and half a soft boiled egg were also present and quite delightful. I never tire of sitting down on the street and eating delicious food in a city environment. Situated opposite Le Siam hotel, a short stroll from Sala Daeng BTS. Cost was 80 THB and worth every penny

These are simple noodles made by locals, but delicious and easy to eat. The taste is good. The price is quite cheap when compared to the amount you get. However, the weather is a bit hot. During the day, there are a lot of people because it is in the office area and there is no parking. However, the road in that area has a lot of food. It is suitable for finding street food to eat. I recommend it. Importantly, there are a lot of people but the wait is not long. The staff handles things quickly, but you may have to share a table with other people.

Made famous by Mark Weins on YouTube and social media. Average bowl of noodles which largely attracts large crowds due to its pricing and large portions (Bangkok standards). Lots of ingredients in the bowl but nothing life changing. It’s interesting to note that most of the “Thai” populist dishes are largely Chinese based and you can get better versions in Malaysia and Singapore.
