I finally stopped by Layers’ flagship store near Chula, and honestly, it lives up to the hype — especially if you’re into rich, layered desserts that look as good as they taste. The first thing you notice is how aesthetic everything is. Their desserts come in clear cups so you can see all the layers — cake, cream, sauce, toppings — stacked perfectly. It’s very Instagram-friendly, but thankfully it’s not just for show. The flavors are bold and indulgent. I tried one of their chocolate-based layers and it was super rich, smooth, and satisfying. If you love sweet desserts, you’ll be very happy here. If you’re not into overly sweet treats, you might want to go for something fruity or share with a friend. What I liked most is that the textures are well-balanced. It’s not just soft cake — you get creaminess, sometimes a bit of crunch, and sauce poured over the top that ties everything together. It feels thoughtfully made rather than just trendy. The shop itself is clean and modern, but seating is a bit limited. It’s more of a quick dessert stop than a place to sit for hours and chat. It can get busy, especially in the evening, so be prepared for a short wait during peak times. Price-wise, it’s not cheap-cheap, but it’s reasonable for the quality and presentation. Portions may look small at first glance, but they’re quite filling because of how rich they are. Overall, I’d definitely go back. It’s a great spot when you’re craving something sweet after a meal around Chulalongkorn. Perfect for dessert dates, catch-ups, or when you just want to treat yourself.

The shop is nicely furnished and the staff are nice. It was, however, pretty empty. Perhaps the dessert was above average. I customised mine with a granola base, signature cheesecake, strawberries and earl grey sauce, which cost me THB 240. For the price I paid, it is worth the money. My picks tasted good when combined together. I’d pop by again if it I were in the area but I wouldn’t intentionally list this place on my itinerary the next time I visit Bangkok.

Not good. Tasting old and not good quality ingredients for the price. Do not recommend.
