Hello everyone, I’ve just finished my stay at Lazy Sunday Hostel Siam, and I’d like to share my experience. At first, I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews here. However, I later realized that there are two hostels with the same name: Lazy Sunday Hostel Siam and Lazy Sunday Hostel Khaosan Road. I’m not sure which one some reviews are referring to, but my experience here was very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly, always smiling and greeting guests. They spoke English well, often chatted with us, and even offered food and drinks. The capsule beds were very clean and comfortable. I booked a lower bed and had no issues at all. The shared bathroom was also well-maintained and worked perfectly. A hair dryer is available, but you need to request it at the reception. On Saturday, before I checked out, the owner even cooked a delicious homemade meal. The place truly felt warm and welcoming — just like home. I’m very sure I’ll come back and stay here again. Stayed in private room with private bathroom. Lovely room big and spacious and with big bathroom with very nice shower. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. In a very good location, nice area at night but not too busy.

Cleanest and most comfortable budget hostel I’ve stayed at in Thailand. Paid the same as most other budget stays and the quality of accommodations was far superior! We got a private room. Pretty quiet for being in the middle of Bangkok, luxury bathrooms, hot showers, kind staff, and free access to the lil cafe inside.

Scammers. They cancelled my booking, which was made 3 month prior, the day before arrival-then refused to issue refund. Sent 3 emails and then they refuse to answer them.

I stayed here 3 times before but the staff at the front desk this time has a terrible service mind. I ask if I can store my backpack and she said the storage is full. If I want to leave my bag, I have to leave it outside the room and not even at a storage! I asked twice if they no space to store at all? And she look annoying and told me that it all full and if I want to leave it here (outside the room). I told her repeatedly that I will leave it here cause I’m not going to take my big backpack with me. And I have no choice and I want to leave it here I just 2 hrs before checking it . She insisted me to read the policy of the hotel about bag storage and said that I should read it carefully cause they many case happened. And what does it even mean? So inside hotel isn’t safe too? Look! I’m a traveler and understand that you shouldn’t leave your valuable belongings at the storage and I didn’t even plan to leave my wallet, laptop here. What I ask was just to leave my bag pack with clothes! She’s look super annoying and said that i will need to sign a policy paper just for leaving the bag. And said to me and another guest repeatedly that no one gonna be here cause it’s lunch time! LOL i’m freaking laugh! Turn out she takes my bag to the staff room which has plenty of storage. You know sometimes it’s really the attitude of the staff, we aren’t blind if you wanna give a service or not. This case she doesn’t even offer the option just the look down of ‘storage is full, if you wanna leave it you need to leave outside the room’. There are no option, no offer, not even being helpful with my case. As I said I stayed here before and this is the first time I have terrible experience checking in and bad service mind from your staff. Your location and room are superb but staff like this gonna make me don’t wanna stay here again Hurrible!
