Marimekko

Big nordic design brand from finland. I came here to try their pop up cafe. interesting take on dessert with japanese influence. I like their lunch menu as well. I hope they will open permanent cafe soon. Overall their dessert was good.

In fairness the foods at marimekko pop up cafe in Thailand in beyond my expectations. Pancake is good, pasta and salad are lovely indeed. Marimekko pop-up café Thailand is under the concept “The best place to bring joy to everyday life” offering inspiration and creating experiences full of happiness for all customers. The specially crafted dishes on our menu will be presented and served on Oiva, Marimekko’s iconic ceramic ware. The café design represents "The art of print making, simplicity and Nordic charming designing the space with the beautiful Nordic design adding great impression from Marimekko's Home collection such as printed fabric, cushion cover and other decorative items.” You will be immersed in Scandinavian experience and can enjoy yourself with the origin of Marimekko, lifestyle brand from Finland.

Loving this Marimekko pop-up. They offer a variety of dishes and drinks as well as cakes. Tried out the Blueberry Spritzer (180฿) which was so refreshing. It has a bit of tartness but still balance. Also got the Blossom Carrot (250฿). The cake is nicely made and the cream cheese frosting was plenty. Since the pop-up cafe is available only for a period of time, it can get quite packed. But the waiting time is not too long (less than 20 minutes).
