Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor

I absolutely loved these executive apartments. The rooms were updated and nicely decorated. They were very clean and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and responded quickly to my requests. I also had access to the executive lounge and the food and service were immaculate in there as well. There’s also a rooftop bar which has a 360 view of Bangkok. The train stop is less than a 5 minute walk away and the location was great. Overall, I would return here the next time I’m in Bangkok.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Marriot and booked a one bedroom apartment. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. Great spread at breakfast and the location is right next to a BTS station. The food at the roof top restaurant is excellent. Especially the burgers. The roof top bar - Octave is also very popular, and has great views. I recommend it for the younger or younger at heart folks.

The room is spacious, spotless clean and neat. Bright as well. The only drawback is its location which takes around 16 mins by BTS to Siam BTS station. Damage is 65baht each way. Close distance to Punnawitthi BtS station, 6 mins walk, without shelter which is ok for me. In raining day….. the swimming pool design is weird, 3rd floor beside the hotel dining restaurant, meaning restaurant guest is literally looking at you swimming. No wonder never saw any ppl swim there. Area for improvement. Other than this is ok. Occupancy rate is around 50% during my 2 wells staycation, never found issue with restaurant seating issue during breakfast. No issue with sound despite besides BTS track. The design is atas type. Very cozy from stat perspective. Price for add on breakfast is steep, 500baht per pax for hotel guest, would be more attractive if could price lower. Overall very nice stay, would consider stay again in future , in my top 3 list.
