I booked this place last minute after taking an overnight bus from Chiang Mai and arriving in Bangkok at 6 AM. Although it was too early for standard check-in, the 24-hour front desk was fully staffed, and I was incredibly grateful to be able to check in early around 9 AM. The lobby is very spacious, and the building itself is much larger and cleaner than I expected. There are plenty of cozy spots to relax, and they offer a variety of rooms, including dorms and private double rooms. I also loved the free coffee in the lobby! The location is excellent—within walking distance to a local market and very close to the bus terminal. It was a highly satisfying stay with great value for money. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance. Even though it was a short stay, I had a wonderful time!

Excellent stay! Perfect for both rest and work. Location: Super convenient. It's within easy walking distance from the train station. Facilities: The hostel is spacious and pleasant. I especially loved the common area. It has a great atmosphere for working; I enjoyed my tasks at the marble tables with fresh coffee from the machine. Cleanliness: Restrooms and showers are very tidy. They clean the facilities regularly, which makes the place very reliable and trustworthy. Staff: The team is incredibly kind. Managing a high-traffic hostel is never easy, but they do an amazing job. Highly recommended if you are visiting this area!

I arrived to BKK long hours before my train so i had “luggage storage & shower” at Matini hostel. You can keep the luggage in their storage room, go out then come back have quick shower before going to the train. Price are affordable (150THB)/ person for 6 hours. Just 10 mins walk from train station.

Overly high volume. The number of guests staying here will be in the triple digits, so the common areas will be over used. There is no private place for you to make a phone call. There is no place for you to cook meals. Other places will have a small pool and a small gym at least, this place has none. The guests at this accomodation are also quite weird, and the curtain cannot be closed completely as there are gaps at the top, so people can look in easily. The water is hard to adjust and is either too hot or too cold. No good restaurants nearby. At the end of the day, I only have this conclusion for this hostel: do not book here.
