Mode Sathorn Hotel Bangkok

A stylish stay with an incredible city view that truly captures the energy of Bangkok. I spent hours admiring the skyline from the room and the stunning infinity pool area. While the aesthetic is top-notch, the parking situation is a bit inconvenient since it isn’t directly connected to the main building. I need to walk a short distance which is something to keep in mind if you have heavy luggage.

We stayed here for the first week of our 2 week holiday in thailand. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Our room was very well done with a great view over the city. The breakfast restaurant was excellent with a great variety of food options. We used the roof bar one night with our complimentary drinks vouchers. It really was a fantastic view with the city all lit up. We used the pool as my partner and daughter love to swim and again this was really well done. The bts system is right outside so made getting around the city incredibly easy. We would definitely stay here again.

After 10 years of having a regular hotel in Bangkok, we wanted to change things up. We chose Mode Sathorn for it's pool and we were not disappointed. We emailed Duty Manager (Wanaporn) with a specific request (high floor) and they obliged... the view from the high rooms is great. The rooms are huge (we only booked the basic room). There are some negative reviews saying the hotel is 'tired' - sure, there are some marks on the walls etc. but in no way does this affect the experience. All staff were extremely welcoming. The breakfast had huge variety (we do not normally opt for hotel breakfast but it was included). We never waited more than 30 seconds for the lift to arrive. The pool was funky and got sunlight until approx. 4pm - great views looking over Bangkok. The prices at the hotel pool bar are a bit extortionate but hey, you're in a nice hotel. Try the Pad Khra Pao pizza - delicious! The rooftop pool is very casual. We went for a few drinks but if guests just wanted to go up for a picture, staff were not pressurising people to buy drinks etc. so all very chilled. BTS literally at the front door, so easy to get around. A short walk to 'old Bangkok' (Talat Noi etc.) and Central Pier. We wouldn't hesitate to return here on our next stay in Bangkok.
