Nai Meng Crab Noodle

Walked by many times over the years but never tried until recently. Not going to win any culinary awards soon but you'd get a very decent meal with a decent taste at a decent price and that's it's value proposition. Serving sizes are ample and they aren't miserly with their ingredients as the noodle was concealed under a layer of roast pork, char chiu, wantons, mushroom and crab meat. The plump wantons were my favorite and left me wanting more. My only complaint was that the roast pork was a bit dry as were the noodles but it's not a deal breaker in my opinion. I would also suggest a side order of their pork shiu mai's. These little suckers are served with crispy crunchy bits (of indeterminate origin) and served with the traditional vinegar sauce though I'd recommend you dipping it in the mushroom soy sauce condiment. I'd come back just for the wantons and the shiu mai, outstanding!

The noodles and wontons are fine. The food takes long time to make and inside the shop is very humid and the odor from the crispy pork will stick to your clothes for all day long like you just came out from the BBQ shop

My second time here. I came back because the first meal i had here was stunning. Perhaps that set too high a standard as my 2nd visit did not meet my expectations. Crispy pork lacked the crisp, the flavors were just okay and lacked the punch it had on my first visit.
