Nice Residence Hotel @Ekamai 14

Great sized rooms, really nice little gym and pool, good location. I really wanted to like this place and would have come every time I visited Bangkok, but... Got here after 30 hours of travel and the room was right next to a major construction zone - full on skyscraper build. Wanted to sleep but would have been impossible, even with earplugs. Asked for different room and they were nice enough to make one available, even though they initially said there were no rooms. But took over an hour of waiting, and when I was told to go to the room, I went up there and there were a bunch of workers lounging in it, so I thought I got the wrong room. Went back down to desk and they said it was right room, so went back up and people left the room. They were nice and showed me how to use keycard. I was relieved because it was quiet and had nice garden view, room looked great too, until I settled in and found that almost all the power outlets except one were broken and barely worked, the lamp had bent plugs, and then went to take a hot shower after 30 hours of travel to get some rest, and the hot water is broken. Decided to just take cold shower and then take a nap. Man, really wanted to love this place, because the gym and pool and location are good, but yeah, I think I will have to find a different place on my regular Bangkok visits. Maybe others have had better luck with this place, idk. But yeah, that's a wrap for me. I will seek other accommodations. I'm very glad I only rented for one night versus many.

The location is good easy to assess but the wifi is really bad .The room is okie big but is there is a washer or laundry room that will be great regular the room service can be improved I ask for a room service in the morning came back afternoon it’s not done yet !!!

Clean room and comfy bed. Your WiFi is letting you down guys. Pool and gym is decent. But in this day and age you need a solid connection
